Are Permits Required To Climb Half Dome?
Yosemite National Park will implement the Half Dome Cables Day Use Permit Interim Program beginning this summer for ascending the Half Dome cables on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.No permits will be required for the Half Dome cables Monday through Thursday.
Weekend and holidays permit reservations will be accepted starting Monday, March 1, at 7:00 a.m. PST, for the months of May and June, 2010.Permits for July and August 2010 will be available on April1, 2010. For September and October 2010, on May 1, 2010. Reservations are available at 7:00 a.m. Pacific time.
300 permits will be available for each day, with a limit of 4 permits per reservation.
All permits will be available through recreation.gov, with no permits available for pick-up at the park. There is a fee of $1.50 per permit reservation.

What is the fee to enter Yosemite?
When you enter the park you will pay a fee of$20.00 per car or $10.00 per person, and your pass is valid for seven days. An Annual pass is available for $40.00.Is there transportation to Yosemite National Park from Mariposa County?

When is Tioga Pass open?
Clearing of the Tioga Road begins on or about April 15 each year and usually takes between one and two months. Predicting when the road will open is not possible, even in late spring, because weather in April and May can affect plowing progress significantly.Is there a grocery store in Mariposa?
Yes, there are two. Pioneer Market is located at 5034 Coakley circle, and 49’er Market is located at 5190 Hwy 49 N.Are there places to dine and shop in Mariposa County?
